Mitrovic
Good with his feet, good in the air, can run, scores goals.

Surely a no brainer once Fulham are relegated and that moaning Austrian is gone

Blokes 2 Bob

Needs 13 chances to score a goal.

No thanks, theres much better out there.

Maybe it's difficult for him to RISE to the occasion?

Drink that much beer and you probably have excess YEAST

Re: Mitrovic
Maybe a persistent yeast infection is his real underlying problem. We've tried everything else.

Carroll at his best was better than Mitrovic. We haven't seen Carroll's best for yeasts...

Eerie,

Again, agreed. That's why I said 'if'. It seems as if we are moving beyond that type of player and I for one hope so.

I still think Rondon is better, too. But I would happily take neither.

Of course, I can't wait till the cunt has finally gone, but signing Mitrovic to replace him? No thanks.

Re: Mitrovic
Agreed Eerie, but any team paying Carroll's wages from now on cannot count on getting a fit and in form Carroll. He is what he is now. If you want that type, may as well go for someone a bit more reliable at least.

Re: Mitrovic
There is no way Mitrovic is better than a fit and in form Carroll. Of course we all know that is few and far between, but he's a much better player than Mitrovic.

Iris,

Barca, Liverpool, and Chelsea are all apparently interested now. So seems we have missed our chance.

As for Mitrovic, if we wanted a Carroll type but better and fitter then he would be a decent shout. Although I still think Rondon could be a better player than we've seen in a good team, albeit against pretty much all available evidence, and out of the yeo I'd go for him.

But we don't seem to be after that type now. We need a mobile striker the way MP has us starting to play now. The real question is whether Hernandez may have done enough to get himself reconsidered as part of the team beyond the summer.

I still vote no on that one. But it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

Re: Mitrovic
Arnie hasn't got pace! Goose mate he's very fast! And iirc Dzeko and Negredo didn't last long under Pellegrini but Suarez did!

Re: Mitrovic
Good Championship striker but not mobile enough for how we want to play.
We need someone with a bit of size but can also move people around.
Like Arnie. With a brain

I’m becoming increasingly impressed with the quick, sharp, incisive passing that we seem to be exhibiting in more recent matches. The foundations were laid some time ago but it can really be seen now.

Too erratic... what happened to the Uruguayan we were looking at ?

Regardless of what happens in the last 20 minutes of this game, I've seen enough to confirm my thoughts that we should be aiming for much better than this cunt.

Re: Mitrovic
Historically Pellegrini has gone for mobile strikers but with a physical presence also:
Rondon
Negredo
Jovetic
Dzeko
Arnie
Even Benzema to an extent

Re: Mitrovic
seen him play at Fulham 5/5 times this year. Usually been very anonymous. seems mediocre player to me.

armchair 8:39 Wed Feb 27
Re: Mitrovic
Arnie is definitely got enough pace that he can run in behind and he has quick feet, both are unusual for a big centre forward. Mitrovic does not have those assets. he is slow.

Re: Mitrovic
“Pellegrini loves fast nimble strikers”

Does he? Like Dzeko & Negredo? I would hardly say that Arnie’s biggest assets were pace & agility.

will cost too much money (they'll want something stupid like 35m+), look elsewhere
